This is the hangout of choice these days.  C and B play various pool games of their own devising; in this case, they perch on the edge of the pool and count to ten at the top of their lungs.  Then C plunges in and skids across the pool to the other side, while B lowers himself gingerly and scoots forward a little, panting with shock at the cold.

See?  It’s cold.  My brother is crazy.

We’ve enjoyed the pool with friends:

I think this was the point at which sweet little S decided three boys splashing her in the pool was too much, and decamped.

C and N, poised to jump.  Apparently all boys love games like this.

B and S at the sand table.  I like to think he’s helping her, with his hand on her arm like that.  Or else he’s trying to take the toy away.  One or the other.

C considering his next move.

The tongue-between-the-teeth is an Opa trick.  They do it when they’re concentrating.

And when you’re ready to relax, there’s always the cozy option of balancing precariously on the edge of the pool:

One cool dude.
